Visitors to the mainland of the People’s Republic of China must obtain a visa from one of the Chinese diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
1. Visa exemption
Holders of ordinary passports issued of the following countries may enter China without a visa as long as their visit does not last longer than the visa-free period listed below, unless if they are allowed to extend their stay.

2. Visa Application
VISA is required for all overseas participants except Visa exemption countries to attend the conference ONSITE.
Chinese Visa processing time may take a few weeks. As a result, participants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible ahead of their departure date (at least TWO months is suggested) in order to allow sufficient time for their application to be processed and if approved, subsequent visa issuance in their passport.
